YONKI

Time flows without pause, waiting for no one. Cherish every moment.

The Yonki tribe, residing in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, rely on fishing and hunting in the Yauna river and nearby jungle. But in 2011, construction of the largest dam in the country began, forcing them to abandon their territory and move closer to the city. As they interact with the modern world, they learn about unfamiliar emotions like greed, wrath, and envy.
