Hunting with eagles is an ancient tradition that has been practiced by various ethnic nomadic groups of Kazakh and Kyrgyz origin for centuries. These groups used to inhabit vast territories across the Eurasian steppe. However, today, fewer than 70 families still follow this tradition of their ancestors.
