The Gilabani people reside in the heart of the jungles of Papua New Guinea, which are surrounded by treacherous mountain ranges that are difficult to traverse. Although they are a secluded tribe, they sometimes venture out to attend the annual sing-sing ceremony in Goroka town, which is a colorful celebration of their cultural heritage.
