The spirit of Belgrade
Let me quote the Serbian writer & painter Momo Kapor:
"Belgrade does not like to have its picture taken. It does not feel like posing for pictures. It squirms. It does not photograph well and always looks like some other place.
It is no Paris, which likes to cuddle with painters.
Nor London, which ingratiated itself with photographers.
Nor Moscow, which looks nice when put into a glass globe with snowflakes.
There are few things in it that I have not already seen elsewhere...Maybe only three: it's rivers, its sky and its people. Out of those three primeval elements, the unique spirit of Belgrade is born."
Belgrade, cao volim te!
PS: All pictures are shot on old Sovjet film camera from 1952 - Fed 2
