The Girl from Grafa

I often found myself wandering through the bustling streets of Sofia, driven by a desire to capture captivating moments and the diverse tapestry of people. This Friday, as I leisurely strolled along Graf Ignatiev Street, lovingly referred to as Grafa by the locals, destiny intervened. I encountered a remarkable sight—a stunning girl, radiant in all her glory, accompanied by an elderly woman. Instantly captivated by her striking beauty and the way she embraced the present moment, I resolved to seize this candid opportunity. Armed solely with the available light and Leica M11 Monochrome, I used zone focusing to capture her against the backdrop of Grafa's enchanting ambiance. Astonishingly, she remained blissfully unaware of my close proximity throughout the entire endeavor.

NOTE TO SELF: Remember the magic of spontaneous encounters and the beauty that unfolds in everyday moments. Stay open to the unexpected and be ready to capture the essence of life's serendipitous stories.
