ASARO

Several generations ago, the Asaro tribe was being hunted by a stronger enemy tribe, and they were on the brink of losing the war. It was then that an old man from their village had a dream about a terrifying gray spirit. The next morning, he woke up with an idea to create a mask out of mud that resembled the spirit he saw in his vision. When the enemies noticed the Asaro Mudmen's masks, they became frightened and fled, thus saving the Asaro tribe. Ever since then, the Asaro Mudmen have mastered the use of human imagination and the fear of the unknown to effectively protect themselves.
