Today it was my first day to run during the rain in September. A funny thing to nice was the impact of the temperature drop over my average pace performance.
- Time duration: 34min 07 sec. Only 0.005% deviation (for the 11 sec difference)
- Location: identical (Borisova Gradina Park, Sofia, Bulgaria)
- Fitness level: only 20 days difference btw the two runs. The first run on Sep 9th was done about 3 weeks after beginning of the new training period for me.
The only main difference btw. those two runs was the Temperature. 22C vs 26C.
The result shows that for 4C drop my avg. Pace has improved by 11.9%.
Is this enough to draw this conclusion? Well in order to have better confidence, i should keep monitor the impact of the temperature over my performance. Of course i should take into consideration the improvement also of my shape. Stay tuned!
