Indian breakfast, Bhopal, India
To run a full marathon it's going to be a huge stress for my body and i need to be max prepared....obviously!
As key for success, good food is as important as the training itself. However, i will avoid doing some special and heavy diet. Instead i will pay attention only at the daily food proportion:
- 65% carbohydrates
- 25% unsaturated fats
- 10% protein
In general my day starts ALWAYS with good healthy breakfast (usually yogurt, bananas, nuts). Between breakfast and lunch i will keep my current fruit habit. Lunch - well I will focus more on pasta & pizza things. Since i love Italian cuisine that will be cool. Afternoons meals will have about 50gr of nuts or bananas.
Key foods in my menu to bring me enough nutrition: avocados, salmon fish, almonds, olive oil, pizzas, patatoes, cookies, pasta, dry fruits, chocolate, egs, beans, brown rise and of course loooots of water.
Acording to some observation, a human body mostly needs carbohydrates to recover its muscles after inentisve training. Hence, as of now i am planning to exercise right after work (7ish). Then late dinner will be only based on salad & fish.
